Jean-David Begin

As a member of the BlackBerry Partners Fund™ investment management team Jean-David oversees direct investments in a broad range of mobile application and services companies.

Jean-David has previously led the North American mid-market M&A advisory group with Natixis where he was involved in numerous international transactions. Prior to that, he spent over a decade in venture capital as a Vice president with VantagePoint Venture Partners and as a Partner with CDP Capital where he collectively made investments in enterprise software, internet infrastructure and communications equipment in the US, Canada and Europe. In addition to his direct investment responsibilities at CDP, Jean-David also served on the Advisory Committee of several US venture capital funds.

Jean-David holds a MBA from Concordia University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
