Kevin is Co-Founder and Co-Managing Partner of the BlackBerry Partners Fund™ a leading independent venture capital firm focused exclusively on mobile computing in collaboration with Research In Motion. Kevin has been an entrepreneur, operator and investor in both Canada and the USA for over 20 years.  He represents BlackBerry Partners Fund on the boards of Xobni, PayFone, WorldMate and Appia.

From 1997 until 2010, Kevin was with the venture capital operation of Royal Bank of Canada where he was Vice President of Venture Capital and Managing Director of RBC Venture Partners, and focused on investments in financial services technology throughout North America.  In 2010, Kevin and his team spun RBC Venture Partners and the Bank's interest in the BlackBerry Partners Fund manager out of RBC.  He presently sits on the boards of Brickstream, Igloo and txteagle on behalf of RBC.  Previously, he served on the boards of Thor Technologies (acquired by Oracle), iPhrase Technologies (acquired by IBM), Inea Corp. (acquired by Cartesis/Business Objects), Infobright Inc., Tacit Software (acquired by Oracle) and CashEdge (acquired by SIG).

Kevin holds an MBA, with distinction, from York University, a BA degree in Strategic Studies and the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors' Corporate Governance College at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. Kevin also holds an appointment as Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurial Studies at the Schulich School of Business (York University) in Toronto.
