Venture capitalists have raised the bar for investing in companies creating new applications for smart phones.
A year ago, two new funds dedicated to mobile apps were received by entrepreneurs with much fanfare. Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers unveiled its $100 million iFund for developers working on features for Apple Inc.'s
